Owner and founder, holder of a master’s certificate. Has worked in the profession since the early 1980s, including many years as a top stylist at Björn Axén and as head of education at Wella.
Frida (Föräldraledig)
- I grew up in a family where my mother, aunt, and cousin are all hairdressers, so the profession has always been a natural part of my life. Before moving to Stockholm, I spent several years working at my mother’s salon and earned my journeyman’s certificate six years ago.
- Since then, I’ve worked at several salons in Stockholm, which has given me extensive experience in coloring—a craft I truly enjoy. I have always had a strong passion for beards and men’s grooming, which makes working at Barber & Books, alongside my family, especially rewarding.

My name is Helena and I’m from Croatia, where I trained as a hairdresser. I have been working as a barber in Sweden since 2019. I love my job because it allows me to be creative and meet lots of interesting people. I speak fluent Swedish, English, and Croatian.
